Talent Acquisition Partner (6 month contract with potential to extend)
Reports to:
Talent Acquisition Lead Europe
Position Summary:
Join the excitement of a Apellis ́s commercial build-up, launching a groundbreaking product in ophthalmology in Europe.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll be at the heart of connecting top-tier talent with incredible opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the endtoend recruitment process, from job posting to offer negotiation and contract extensions for various countries in Europe.
- Support recruitment of predominantly commercial and medical roles at various levels and project manage build up of Key Account Management teams for your region.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to hiring managers regarding specific recruitment challenges or opportunities by maintaining current market knowledge and external trends.
- Provide recruiting updates (including reporting analytics), trends, obstacles, and competitive market intelligence on the local / regional talent pools
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization's employer brand.
- Help optimize recruitment workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Flexible to jump in and support the recruitment efforts in new countries and functions as required by the business
- Manage multiple roles in a fast paced environment.
Education, Registration & Certification:
- BA degree in HR, Business Admin or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition/HR preferably in the biotech/pharma industry and across Europe.
- Experience with various HRIS and ATS required (Greenhouse and Workday system is preferred).
- Highly proficient in use of Office 365, MS Outlook & MS Office Suite
- Experience with social media, career boards, and other online and creative resources to enhance employer branding, attract and interact with applicants.
- Proven track record of working closely with senior leadership teams, while also influencing across multiple levels, functions and regions of an organization.
- Excellent communicator with strong written and oral communication skills in
- English and Spanish or Italian (UK)
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality and strong problem solving skills
- Service and detail oriented with a friendly, positive and approachable demeanour.
- Self starter and comfortable navigating a start up environment and ambiguity
