- Lead urban design and masterplanning projects from conceptual design to implementation.
- Collaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies and research to inform design decisions and project recommendations.
- Work closely with planners, architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate urban design principles.
- Prepare and present design proposals, Design & Access Statements.
- Degree in Architecture, Planning, Urban design, or Landscape Architecture.
- Min 3 years work experience in urban design/master planning
- Knowledge of RIBA design stages and public sector planning process stages for new development.
- An up-to-date knowledge of current urban design, architecture and placemaking, practices, especially in relation to the climate emergency.
- Strong design skills, including proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
