Mechanical Design Engineer
45,000-£60,000 + Bonus + Progression + 33 Days Holiday + Pension
Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge working on the design of ground breaking and innovative machinery?

Working as part of a small in-house design team you will be involved in the machinery design for their South Wales factory as well being involved in a future project to establish a new manufacturing facility overseas.

In this role you will be working as part of a small, close-knit design team responsible for the design and optimisation of innovative manufacturing lines.

You will be involved in full lifecycle design, including detailing and verification, component selection and procurement, and build and commissioning support.

You will maximise reliability and quality of the production line whilst ensuring conformity with machinery safety regulations.

The company utilise SolidWorks so a strong background of the package would be beneficial, although any other similar software would be suitable.

You will have the opportunity to mentor other engineers and graduates within the team to continuously improve design practices.
