Description

We are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced Adult Mental Health Practitioner.

The role will be to provide trauma informed interventions to meet the mental health and emotional needs of refugee families who are being resettled across Warwickshire.

The post holder will be joining a friendly and supportive team within migrant mental health, who will work closely with key partners across statutory and 3rd sector services, such as Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre, Citizens Advice and Migration Team within Warwickshire County Council.

The clinical specialist will offer outreach work to families with specific emphasis on those adults, children and young people who require mental health and emotional wellbeing support.

You will be required to meet families within their home or clinical environment to carry out an assessment of need.

The team will work together as an MDT to be able to provide timely response to individuals who require intervention.

The post holder will be required to work with colleagues within adult mental health services and coordinate any referrals needed into these services.

They will also be expected to provide advice, consultation and training to other professionals and key partners.

Regular supervision and relevant additional training will be provided by the service.
