Description
An established clothing supplier are seeking a
Quality Controller to join their fast-expanding team. You will be working with major store groups.

With the ongoing expansion of the business this is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of their creative team.


The Role:


  • Various Quality checks of incoming raw materials.
  • Various Due diligence Quality checks of production Work in Process.
  • Final Inspection (AQL) Quality checks prior to Goods Shipment.
  • Recording results of Quality Checks.
  • Managing the Quality check Records.
  • Quality Records correlation and analysis.
  • Run, document and report weekly/monthly Quality Management Meeting with Production Teams / Head of Merchandising.
  • Facilitate and report Pre-Production Meetings to initiate a smooth transition to production.
  • Assist Production Teams to identify chronic quality issues, identify root causes and facilitate their minimisation/elimination.
  • Form and maintain a close relationship with Production Teams and Merchandise Teams.

Requirements:


  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to work under pressure & cope with tight deadlines.
  • Accurate recording and reporting with attention to detail.
  • Confident and effective communicator at various business levels.
  • Previous experience in Quality Control is essential.
  • Previous experience in Colour Assessment is essential.
  • Previous experience in apparel is essential.
  • Previous knowledge of Quality Control Testing is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in Printed Goods is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office packages and Outlook.
  • Proactive approach with Teamplayer mentality.
