Description
Jonathan Lee Recruitment are looking for an Electronic Engineer to work on holographic HUD projects based in Buckinghamshire.
The company offer sponsorship, if you are already based in the UK or Europe as well as hybrid working,

Key responsibilities

  • Develop electronic hardware for new generation automotive HUD prototypes which are based on laser holography.
  • Design of analog, digital and mixedsignal circuits to meet system requirements including initial circuit concept, evaluation of components, design of schematics, and PCB layout (e.g. laser diode control, display device control, display interfaces).
  • Testing of assembled PCBs and handson integration and optimisation of PCBs within new optoelectronic systems.
  • Bringup, optimisation and troubleshooting of electronics in HUD prototypes.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or similar, Masters preferred.
  • Experience delivering the full lifecycle of analog, digital and mixedsignal circuit design from circuit concept to testing and implementation in systems.
  • Experience designing and implementing circuits for optoelectronic device components (laser diodes, photodiodes, LC devices, displays).
  • Experience with display data transfer protocols (e.g. DisplayPort).
  • Experience writing and modifying microcontroller code (C)
  • Experience writing and modifying FPGA code (VHDL) is desirable
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced startup environment where novel ideas, designs, and methods are constantly being developed and tested.
  • Practical understanding of display or optical technologies especially head up displays (HUDs) is desirable.
