We are an aspiring organisation, and we are looking for equally bold and creative Controller to join our dynamic Pre-SOP Cost Leadership team.

The Cost Reduction Promotion and Strategy function is responsible for planning & managing the lifecycle cost reduction business for all R&D projects in Europe.
The role involves cross functional working to create and deliver cost reports for new vehicles and ensure cost targets are achieved.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities of the Cost Promotion & Strategy ControllerPrimary responsibilities include:
Lead cost reporting using Excel, Tableau + other strategic BI tools with high quality visualisations consistent with the corporate ID
System owner, expert user and administrator for Nissan's specific management tool (Cost Data Warehouse). Understand the system architecture and reporting tables.
Manage a small team to report performance & progress to internal and external business areas.
Support delivery of the company level cost reduction objective
Provide expert support & training to engineers regarding use of the systems, reporting and processes.
Regional leader for the preparation of the requirements and end user testing of the future global cost system (E2E)
Periodic remote working may be required in-line with Co. policy. Infrequent national and international travel to may be required
Secondary:
Project management leading cross functional teams including system developers, engineers, buyers and manufacturing plants.
Analyse the data output to identify trends, opportunities, risks, anomalies and areas requiring action. Identify and escalate problems appropriately.
Identify and develop process improvement opportunities. Self-motivated to plan and action activities with other Nissan sites
Innovative and flexible "can do" attitude with self-motivation to plan and action activities
An understanding of vehicle components, systems and bill of materials is advantageous
Background and Experience
You will probably have a degree level of education, however 2 or more years of relevant experience in the below areas would be expected
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication/presentation skills
Experience to lead a team and/or project including preparation of detailed documentation (business requirements and mock up creation)
Strong PC skills with Office 365, Excel, Access, MS PowerPoint and MS Word are essential.
Tableau experience - want
Knowledge of power query (Excel) - want
Knowledge of SQL (able to edit script) - want
Excellent communication skills
Languages:
English - fluent
