We're Blind Veterans UK, a charity that helps vision-impaired ex-service people from every generation rebuild their lives regardless of how or when they lost their sight.
Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have supported those blinded in subsequent wars and military engagements, including the Second World War, and more recently, the conflicts in the Faulklands, Iraq and Afghanistan.
We are currently seeking an Equipment Delivery & Installation Technician to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.Competitive salary

As an Equipment Delivery & Installation Technician, you will deliver, install and provide specialist training on vision impairment rehabilitation equipment for our members.
Contacting members, you will arrange and confirm home visits, plan routes and overnight stays and complete postal duties, including picking, packing, logging information on systems and completing administration duties.
Provide equipment demonstrations, Q&As and training to colleagues– To be considered as an Equipment Delivery & Installation Technician, you will need:
– Confidence in demonstrating and training members to use technology equipment
– A full, valid driving licence
We will provide you with full, comprehensive training on vision impairment and assistive technology.
Other organisations may call this role Field Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician, Service Technician, Product Technician, or Technical Product Specialist.
