    The Global Learning and Development Manager will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our global subsea technology firm by leading the following key initiatives:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive global learning and development strategy aligned with the company's objectives and growth plans.
    • Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads, HR business partners, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and industry best practices.
    • Design, develop, and deliver a range of learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, workshops, and on-the-job learning experiences.
    • Providing leadership development plans to equip managers with the skills necessary to lead and drive business success.
    • Designing and implementing training and competence strategies to ensure quality standards are met across all lines of business.
    • Evaluate existing training programs and materials, making recommendations for improvements and updates to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and engagement.
    • Partner with external vendors, consultants, and educational institutions to source relevant content, tools, and resources to enhance learning initiatives.
    • Implement learning management systems (LMS) or other technology platforms to streamline the delivery and tracking of training programs across global locations.
    • Collaborate with HR to integrate learning and development initiatives into performance management processes, succession planning, and career development frameworks.
    • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning programs, making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and enhance our approach.
    • Create, lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster a culture of learning and professional growth within the organization.

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred or equivalent experience
    • Experience in learning and development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs in a global organisation.
    • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development as well as adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
    • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective training programs that address organizational needs and objectives.
    • Experience managing learning management systems (LMS) and other technology platforms for training delivery and administration.
    • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and drive results.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience leading and developing a team of L&D professionals
    • Experience working in matrix organizations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.
