About the School
The Board of Governors of Ernest Cookson School are looking to recruit an administration assistant for the main reception to assist in the provision of clerical and administrative duties as part of a successful, friendly and hardworking team.
About the RoleThe School Administrator is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, students and staff. As the 'face' of the school the School. Administrator should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly.
To be the first point of contact for visitors to the school, extending a warm welcome to all stakeholders– including parents, visitors, contractors and staff.
In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organized, able to multi-task, work flexibly and have a 'can do' approach to work.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, be friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic and committed to providing effective administration and support in a busy environment.
It would be advantageous for the candidate to have experience of using schools systems and working in a school environment, but full training will be provided.
The candidate must have strong communication and IT skills.
