Goods Intake QC
Pontyclun
Salary - £23,000 - £23,500
Hours - Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
Our well known Client is looking for a Goods Intake QC to join their busy team

Essential Skills
- Experience working in a similar role
- Full UK driving license
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
Role and Responsibilities
- Inspect and analyse incoming raw material deliveries both on site and at 3rd party storage facilities
- Raise rejection and nonconformances with raw material suppliers
- Send periodic reports to raw material suppliers
- Perform routine equipment, raw material and personnel inspections.
- Checking printed packaging against specifications
- Carry out fabrication and glass and hard plastics audits
- Monitor and audit compliance with company quality standards
- Monitor temperatures of chiller and freezer units.
- Verify thermometers and scales
- Conduct process audits.
- Support with covering for Site Quality Assurance Technician in their absence
