Teaching Assistant for SEND Schools in Skelmersdale


Are you looking for a new role within education? Are you passionate about make a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? Tradewind Recruitment is working with an SEND school in Skelmersdale to find a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work within their team.


Requirements:


  • You do not need a formal Teaching Assistant qualification for this role. The school is keen to work with people from all walks of life and support them in learning the role.
  • Experience (personal or professional) working with children or adults with additional needs would be beneficial.
  • A genuine desire to support students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons and enabling all children to access the curriculum
  • Providing onetoone support to students
  • Help with daily activities and ensure students wellbeing
