Investigo are partnering with leading facilities services company. Our client is seeking a successful Financial Business Partner to join their team.


Salary - £50,000 to £55,000 per annum


Location - Stoke


Job description

  • Carrying out financial forecasting and budget planning. Managing the billing process and cash collection.
  • Maintaining financial control by ensuring processes are adhered to and challenged when necessary.
  • Ensuring commercial opportunities and risks are tracked accurately.
  • Being the first point of contact for Finance and Commercial team and providing support through carrying out month end activities.
  • Proactively establishing and maintaining professional business relationships with client representatives at all levels.
  • Performing necessary adhoc duties given by the Senior Finance Business Partner.
  • Responsible for maintaining the balance sheet, ensuring it falls in line with accounting policies.
  • Providing support to the contract team, ensuring that there is a clear understanding in order to protect both parties from internal and external risks.

Personal skills and attributes

  • Commercial / Financial experience in a commercial services contract environment.
  • Experience within a client facing role.
  • Are able to evidence of strong understanding of the importance of process and control within Commercial.
  • A proactive, confident individual, who possesses the ability to use their initiative.
  • A high level of attention to detail is essential.
  • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Can appropriately prioritise and manage their workload.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Excel; PowerPoint; Word; Financial Systems.
