Role Title: Credit Risk Specialist

Summary of the role:

- either for initial client workshops or presenting solutions/frameworks or even as the SME guiding the team during the delivery phase.

You will be a key catalyst to drive growth
- we already with largest and most prestigious UK banks and our aspiration is to deepen those relationships and build new relationships with other large banks, fintechs and payment providers


As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

  • Being current on new risk regulations regularly published by PRA and ECB
  • Build a point of view on what these regulations mean for banks in terms of compliance
  • Help convert client problems to actionable plans/frameworks/solutions, working closely with front end and delivery teams and then presenting them to clients & prospects

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • Minimum 10 years (ideally 15+ years) of experience in relevant credit risk areas for banks (preferably retail banks), Big4 or specialised domain consulting firms
  • These essential areas of experience to include:
  • Capital compliance (IRB, IFRS9, CRR)
  • Model Risk Management (Validation and/or monitoring)
  • Atleast 1 of the following areas
  • Collections (Modeling, Strategy and/or operations)
  • Fraud (first party/third party)
  • Customer management (Underwriting, pricing)
  • Risk Data Management (BCBS239)
  • Experience of supporting front end sales & account management team is highly desirable
  • Master's degree in business or accounting OR a reputed STEM graduate degree

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including presentation writing skills
  • Problem solving and consulting mindset
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to solve client problems
  • Willingness to travel within UK, Ireland and EU
  • Ability and experience of working with different time zones (if needed)
  • Exposure to working in a multicultural diverse organisation would be desirable
