We are currently recruiting for an organised and efficientRepairs & Maintenance Coordinator to join our friendly team.
You will engage with tenants, contractors, and other teams to provide a customer focused response to the delivery of their repair and maintenance needs.
Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Manager, your role will be to support with the day-to-day activities in response to repairs and maintenance compliance function for our supported housing accommodation.
You will use your skills and knowledge to ensure that you schedule all maintenance and repairs effectively, the portfolio is compliant, and all work is carried out in line with Cromwood housing policies and procedures whilst ensuring you work to the KPIs in line with our company service level agreements.

Repairs & Maintenance Coordinator main duties include:
- Handling telephone enquiries and making out-bound calls
- Daytoday responsive and major repairs
- Disrepair; damp, mould & condensation; EHO and escalated cases
- Organising the delivery of void works, property redecorations, improvements, and adaptations
- Maintaining records using property management software, ensuring all correspondence is documented
- Continuous monitoring of property compliance, always ensuring compliance and booking in remedial actions where necessary
- Ensuring all repair requests are recorded onto property management software, arranging for the repair to be completed by our inhouse maintenance operatives or approved contractors and closing the job if all necessary works are completed
- Monitoring repair levels and outstanding actions on the property management software, chasing updates from external contractors as necessary and completing jobs within the repair response times.
Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience in arranging repairs to tenanted properties
- A good understanding of Workplace Health & Safety regulations and procedures
- Competent with all installation, maintenance & repairs
- Excellent knowledge of the building works and how defects are remedied
- Good knowledge of the cost of works and experience of negotiating with builders on these (Desirable)
- Good knowledge of landlord responsibilities for compliance (Desirable)
- Good record keeping skills
- Good communicator who can work well with partners and builders
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative and teamoriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to interact with people from a wide range of backgrounds
- Qualification in construction or experience in carrying out works (Desirable)
