Tate are working with a large consulting, transformation and digital services business who focus on delivering innovative solutions to transform and simplify the connections between businesses and customers, governments and citizens
Our Client operates in the UK, Europe, India and South Africa and they provide a number of services including pensions, learning & development, education and software.
The role
We are looking for a Business Development Director to lead business development for our clients Pensions Consulting business, driving growth through partnerships and relationships and growing revenue with new clients.
Key responsibilities;:
- Develop and deliver an integrated growth strategy for Pensions Consulting which is focused on driving revenue and new customer growth
- Achieve agreed sales (revenue) targets including IYR, TCV and qualified pipeline growth.
- Lead the endtoend sales cycle for qualified specific opportunities on the pipeline. This includes engaging with prospects to bring opportunities to market, creating a compelling and competitive proposal and closing the deal in collaboration with commercialcolleagues
- Ensuring the Pensions Consulting brand name is prominent by attendance at seminars and Industry Events as well as maintaining positive relationships with relevant third parties.
- Identify client/market needs and trends and where necessary suggest product change or improvement
- Working with the senior leadership team to ensure product pricing is correct
Essential experience required;:
- New Business Development in Pension Consultancy (Actuarial and Investment)
- Senior Business Development expertise at C suite level
- Comprehensive understanding of Pensions and Benefits and up to date with legislation and market changes and can articulate how this will create development opportunities
- Can develop and update sales strategy and work with colleagues to develop propositions
- Proven track record of delivering new business and operating unit growth in line with business strategy
