  • Previous experience of working in a social care setting or similar e.g. health or education settings.

What does a Project Worker do?


Midland Mencap is looking to appoint a Project Worker who will work alongside colleagues to turn the Walsall Carers Hub vision and mission into a reality.


Identifying and supporting families, or people who provide unpaid care, to people with disabilities and illnesses, they will need to work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders, both internally and externally, to support a wide range of engaging wellbeing activities and the provision of information, advice and guidance.

They will be experienced with engaging with our towns cultural diversity and identifying individual and community asset-based strengths.


Our Project Worker will work within a rota system, to ensure we are able to meet the demands of a busy service.

As a Project Worker, they will provide frontline support to unpaid carers and work with volunteers to maximise our reach.
