Health and Safety Advisor
The role requires a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent and at least three years of experience in a multidisciplinary H&S role.
You must be computer literate, able to work independently and as part of a team, and willing to travel nationally and internationally to support our clients' risk mitigation processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Service the clients needs in relation to health and safety advice and support, maintaining good customer relations.
- Develop and deliver Health and Safety related training packages relevant to the clients needs.
- Research and report of implications of productions requirements (overseas and travel safety).
- Production suitable and sufficient risk assessments, policy, protocols and procedure and supporting documentation in a timely manner to facilitate clients and department needs.
- Assist and actively participate in producing effective internal procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
- Investigate accidents and incidents and report finding internally and to the client as appropriate.
- Carry out vetting of contractors in all disciplines of productions activities.
- Undertake audit and inspections.
- Carry out and support clients in their places of work (UK and Internally).
- Work with the Head of Health and Safety as well as the wider team to ensure clients contracts are fulfilled.
- Continually work to improve both internal and customer facing processes. Make recommendations for change.
- Ensure all processes are documented and stored correctly.
