Description

This role will be in our transport team who help arrange truck transportation for containers for their customers throughout the whole of the UK.

You will be given a team of trucks to manage through our system Truckcom.

Your role will be to ensure that all deliveries and pick ups are managed in line with company and the customers' requirements.

Role
Control, plan and monitor the daily electronic traffic sheet.
Deliver quality service provided to the customer and cost effective deployment of the vehicle(s).
To ensure any deviation to planned C&D is notified early and in full to the CSU departments.
To meet average weekly target revenue levels are accomplished over a rolling 2 month period.
To ensure completeness of control throughout the Job Order Cycle.
To follow up on any root cause creating service issues, with a view of implementing continuous improvement.
To be effective in the daily process controls to ensure ISO/QA adherence when managing the Job Order Cycle.
Provide management reports to reflect the company's charter vehicles service and cost performance.


Requirements:

Good analytical and cost skills
Be able to problem solve and work under pressure.
Work as part of a close team and independently as required.
Has excellent attention to detail.
