    Pay Rate:
    £11.50 p/h

    Igloo are on the lookout for Coachbuilders to join our client's team in Stocksbridge. Our client is one of the UK's leading automotive and transport companies, with operations across the country.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Within the Coach Builder role you will be responsible for the below tasks:


    • Transform standard vans into high-quality minibuses suitable for schools and private customers.
    • Utilise basic joinery skills to create interior structures and solutions tailored to specific customer requirements.
    • Handle wiring tasks to install electrical components such as lighting, audio systems, and safety features.
    • Operate a variety of power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials for the conversion process.
    • Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including designers, engineers, and fellow factory workers, to achieve efficient and high-quality conversions.
    • Manage workload effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines.
    • Use various materials (plywood, aluminium etc).
    • Use various adhesives.
    What kind of person are we looking for?


    • Must have experience in using a range of power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, and other relevant equipment.
    • Must be able to work well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
    • An understanding of safety protocols associated with the use of power tools.
    • Some knowledge of construction materials and their applications.
    • Will need to have effective communication skills to coordinate ongoing tasks with colleagues and supervisors.
    • Time management skills are essential to this role in order to complete tasks within established deadlines.
    • Candidates must be willing to learn new skills.
