- Transform standard vans into high-quality minibuses suitable for schools and private customers.
- Utilise basic joinery skills to create interior structures and solutions tailored to specific customer requirements.
- Handle wiring tasks to install electrical components such as lighting, audio systems, and safety features.
- Operate a variety of power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble materials for the conversion process.
- Work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including designers, engineers, and fellow factory workers, to achieve efficient and high-quality conversions.
- Manage workload effectively to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Use various materials (plywood, aluminium etc).
- Use various adhesives.
- Must have experience in using a range of power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, and other relevant equipment.
- Must be able to work well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- An understanding of safety protocols associated with the use of power tools.
- Some knowledge of construction materials and their applications.
- Will need to have effective communication skills to coordinate ongoing tasks with colleagues and supervisors.
- Time management skills are essential to this role in order to complete tasks within established deadlines.
- Candidates must be willing to learn new skills.
