Network Architect - Network Management, Juniper, Firepower IDS, SC Cleared

Our client within Local Authority requires a proven SC Cleared Network Architect to work on a new, large program and support the delivery of a complex IDS/IPS network solution.

You will be providing technical leadership within this program to the Project and Program Managers, and your role will involve network design (using Firepower, F5 and Gigamon, including passing through any governance reviews, and will provide technical support during the build, implementation/configuration and test phases, and ensure successful handover to service
Suited candidates will also have experience in skills and knowledge in Networking, and Network Management.

Specific technical skills include Juniper certification (switching and configuration), network encryption and tunneling technologies, SNMPv3, Cisco Firepower Management Center, Firepower IDS and IPS, background in secure network design, F5 and Gigamon (SSL interception and packet broker).

Strong general network skills including WAN routing including MPLS, BGP.
