£30,000 p.a + Overtime and great benefits package


This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning business who've been around for over 40 years, and who are constantly evolving their engineering abilities.

As specialist machinery manufacturers, they are known for their ability to develop bespoke solutions, and for providing engineering answers to complex issues


The Role
Based at their impressive Bingham facility you'll be responsible for:

  • Writing CNC programs (based around Fanuc controls for Mori Seki machines)
  • Proving out programs and making necessary adjustments
  • Tool setting and operating the CNC machines to produce precision engineered components
  • Ensuring the quality of the finished articles
  • Utilising a variety of materials
  • Liaising with others in the business (design, quality, materials etc.) to ensure the timely programming and manufacturing of components to the correct standard

This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday on days, with overtime available.

The Person
You'll obviously need certain things in your locker to be considered, which includes:

  • Relevant qualifications or time-served experience within machining
  • Proven experience of setting, operating and programming
  • Exposure to programming for Fanuc controls
  • Making any necessary adjustments as the product is being manufactured to ensure the quality of the finished components
  • Experience of machining various materials (usually the steel family)
  • Experience of working in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others involved in the process
  • Being able to work alone or as part of a team
