    Job summary

    Are you anexperienced dietician? Do you have evidence-based experience and are lookingfor flexible working opportunities? HAWHC is currently providing these opportunities through an excitingplacement opportunity at Worcester Royal Hospital.

    The Trustis delighted to offer the opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, andhighly motivated individual to join their Team. Thepost holder will work within the Community Eating Disorder Service and provideeffective interventions and service delivery models that leads to children andyoung people in Worcestershire.

    Main duties of the job

    Providea clinical service to patients in a range of settings including community-basedclinic settings and in-patient units, child development centres, schools andpatients homes as appropriate. Be part of the clinical assessment and overallplanning for the young person, which will involve attending weekly casesdiscussion and referral meetings whilst taking part in MDT (multidisciplinarymeetings).

    Support the transition of patients and carersto adult services as appropriate.

    Promoteoptimal nutrition for patients on the caseload.

    Manageclinical risk and be individually responsible for a clinical caseload ofpatients with a range of complex conditions and diverse needs, requiringcompetent clinical practice for outpatients and patients at home, accessingclinical supervision on a planned basis.

    Negotiateand agree dietary or nutritional goals with individual patients and /or theircarers using motivational interviewing, counselling and cognitive behaviourtherapy tools as applicable. This may include identifying individual barriersto change and helping clients to manage them.
