    Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Business Support Officer for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

    As a Business Support Officer, you will provide administrative support to the clinical service, ensuring the delivery of therapeutic services to young people by coordinating meetings, managing finances, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

    About the role:

    You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

    Take accurate minutes during weekly meetings and ensure timely distribution to relevant stakeholders.

    Coordinate and support the organization of at least two other meetings per week, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place.

    Handle financial administration tasks, including processing invoices, making purchases for the team, and maintaining records of expenditures.

    Assist in the coordination of service rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to deliver high-quality care.

    About you:

    The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

    Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or social care setting.

    Proficiency in minute-taking and producing accurate meeting documentation.

    Proficiency in financial administration tasks, including invoice processing and budget monitoring, would be advantageous.

    What's on offer

    Salary: £18+ per hour

    *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

    Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

    Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
