Sales Specialist Trading Solutions (Order, Execution and Portfolio Management Solutions)

  • We are looking for a driven salesperson with expertise in the Buy Side trading space. The Sales Specialist is responsible for driving new sales across UKI by selling our solutions to both existing and new clients, including REDI, EIKON, Alphadesk and Autex FIX Network.
  • Based in London as part of the EMEA Trading Sales team, your main accountabilities will be proactively prospecting, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.


  • Responsibilities

  • Proactively drive pipeline and gross sales, keeping pipeline and sales forecasting accurate and up to date
  • Structure, negotiate and close deals
  • Develop the sales strategy within your defined territory
  • Provide insights and share Refinitiv thought leadership on their proposition with customers
  • Deliver customer demonstrations on their specific propositions
  • Act as the 'voice of the customer' by feeding back product and content requirements to our Market Development teams
  • Experience:
  • Proven sales experience, with a consistent track record of selling into the financial services industry, ideally within the small to medium hedge fund and asset management community
  • A strong understanding of the Trading workflow including pre trade, trading and post trade
  • Experience of technology sales, with a specialism in OMS/PMS/EMS workflows
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor offerings within the listed products trading space
  • A self starter who demonstrates the following characteristics

  • Ability to interact with customers in a consultative, facetoface selling environment in a way that builds value for the customer and facilitates opportunities for future sales
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, constantly evolving and rapidly growing product sales environment
  • Critical thinking skills; demonstrated ability to plan and execute sales strategies
  • A Great Teammate ability to collaborate with multiple internal partners to win complex deals
  • Able to travel to customer locations
