My client, a leading Global Insurance Company is currently recruiting for a Medical Underwriter to become part of a team of Medical Underwriters who work closely together to make sure the needs of the business, customers and distributors are all met.

If you are a Medical underwriter with an appetite for providing excellent customer service whilst balancing risk and resolution of cases and this an ideal role to apply

The client is looking for

  • A proven working knowledge of Income Protection, Life, Critical Illness and disability products
  • Experience of providing fair and balanced underwriting decisions using the appropriate amount of evidence necessary
  • Ideally a minimum of 3 years underwriting experience with appropriate authority levels
  • Good computer literacy, sound numerical and verbal literacy skills.
  • Knowledge of protection legislation
