Toxicologist (Analytical Chemistry) Contract role
Location:
Remote, UK coverage
We are currently looking for an Independent Analytical Chemistry Technical Assessor in Toxicology, our external Technical Assessors are a crucial part of the UKAS assessment process, providing UKAS with the essential expertise required to deliver robust assessments in testing for labs all across the UK.
Suitable applicants would have experience of toxicology or work place drug testing, you must have the following background:Have a depth of understanding of quality control in a range of analytical techniques.
Thorough understanding of data performance checks and data integrity requirements.
Experience handling the relevant matrices involved in toxicology testing.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with laboratory staff, management and their customers at all levels.
Worked for ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing laboratoryHave at least 5 years practical experience working in a lab
Possess up-to-date and detailed knowledge relevant to your field of expertise including industry standard methods and relevant sector schemes.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with laboratory staff, management and their customers at all levels.
Proven experience of ISO/IEC 17025 standard testing and calibration laboratories .Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with Certification Body staff, Senior Management Teams, Assessment Centres and their customers at all levels.
Full training will be provided for to become an Assessor in Report Writing to UKAS requirements offering ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standard awareness and UKAS systems training.
