Job Description JUNIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Our client is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer on a temporary to permanent basis. The role would be based at the Company premises located in St. Albans, Hertfordshire (AL3). They are a reputable manufacturer of low voltage switch gears and are committed to providing innovative and reliable solutions to meet all customers' needs. Training and support will be provided but the successful candidate will be expected to learn as they develop into the role and show the desire to do so. They should have City & Guilds or NVQ in the Electrical field.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM – 38 hours week

Salary: In the range of £12.60 per hour PAYE. If you are taken on permanently, the salary is £25,000 per annum.

As a Junior Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic engineering team where you will get the opportunity to:

1. Work on the design, development, and testing of low voltage switch gears.
2. Experience working with PCBs, SMT and other fine wiring / soldering experience.
3. Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
4. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
5. Ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and objectives.
