Job Purpose

As the Credit Control Assistant you will be part of a dynamic and evolving outsourced credit control team that provides an outstanding quality of work and service to our clients.

The role includes liaising with our client's customers to proactively chase collections.


You will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge, develop your technical skills, and put this into practice as part of a growing team.

Our clients are both large and small and are active in a variety of sectors.

At the outset, you will work on one particular client and have the opportunity to build relationships with this client and work closely with them to improve their cash position.

Role & Responsibilities
Liaison with debtors of our outsourced clients to verify receipt of invoices, address queries and chase cash collection.
Collation of copy invoices and documentation for debtors of outsourced clients.
Maintain a record of contact with debtors of our outsourced clients.
Assistance with cash allocation where required.
Occasional ad-hoc administration tasks.
To raise the profile of the firm by ensuring clients expectations are continually exceeded.

Use own initiative to resolve issues and assist team members where possible, by providing a range of solutions and seeking advice where necessary.

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
Good numerical and analytical skills
Organisational skills essential
Good IT skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Confident individual
Demonstrates attention to detail and a high concern for accuracy
Demonstrates an appreciation of the importance of teamwork and responds willingly to all team members reasonable requests
Keen interest in Finance
