    We're looking for a Technical Program Manager to join Snap Labs

    What you'll do:

    In this exciting role you will lead cross-functional engineering and operations efforts delivering cutting edge technologies that will enable the mass adoption of Augmented Reality glasses. You will work with high performing, industry leading, engineering and operations teams who are pushing the boundaries of what's possible. You will specialise in delivering projects that encompass both technical and operational advancements in fields such as new product introduction, off-shore contract manufacturing, new supplier sourcing and capital expansion.

  • Manage a range of engineering and operations activities relating to the development and manufacture of microdisplays, optical waveguides and optical engines for the Augmented Reality space
  • Utilise your technical expertise to lead complex multi-disciplinary projects from initial concept until final delivery
  • Lead technology and infrastructure projects within a high tech manufacturing environment with manufacturing facilities in both the UK and USA along with a global supply chain
  • Work with the project team to develop & capture requirements, identify risks, plan and drive execution of all deliverables
  • Lead communicating priorities and timelines to the various teams and project updates to senior stakeholders
  • Take ownership of all technical issues within the project, working with the various engineering teams to drive towards solutions
  • Engage with technical procurement and the engineering teams to drive key suppliers on custom developments, ensuring components are delivered to specification
  • The role will be hands-on, requiring active involvement in many areas
  • The role may require availability for international travel (10% - 30%)
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to combine technical expertise with exceptional communication skills.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology discipline.
  • 5+ years experience delivering engineering and operational improvement programs
  • Previous experience as an engineer.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience taking products from initial concept to market release. Ideally volume consumer products
  • Experience within the photonics or electronics industries
