- Ensure that interdepartmental communication is kept to an optimum.
- Oversee depots located with Cumbria & North East.
- To keep abreast of goings on within the company and its subsidiary departments.
- Ensure that the workforce is happy, focused, driven and productive.
- To make sure the company complies with any laws and guidelines that are relevant to the industry.
- To ensure that any budgets and profit targets are worked towards at all times.
- Be aware of cash flow and any accounting issues on a daily basis.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety and the Chapter 8 requirements.
- Account management and Business development experience.
- Great communication skills and a clear understanding of markets and consumer behaviour
- Experience and knowledge of the designated region, and the key players within it.
- Excellent leadership skills and qualities to gain the best results from others within the department
