We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail orientated
Finance/Payroll Assistant to join our Finance team, based in Strathclyde Business Park Bellshill.
Retronix Semiconductor is a leading provider of support services to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's), Device Manufacturers and Equipment Trading companies in the Semiconductor industry.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintaining and analyzing the company's accounting system and work independently with general supervision from management.
- Review and analyzes general ledger account balances.
- Management of Supplier bill entry and payments.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation and balance sheets.
- Prepare timely reports and communication with functional areas.
- Prepare Bank reconciliations.
- Process the payroll cycle for UK and EU employees, ensuring that all statutory reporting is processed in a timely manner; these include P11D's, PAYE/NIC, FPS, Deductions etc.
- Ensuring accurate and timely payment of weekly wages and monthly salaries in alignment with monthly payroll and autoenrolment deadlines.
- Answering all payroll, pensions and HMRC queries from key stakeholders both within and out with the business.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations to address payrollrelated inquiries and discrepancies.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and contribute to the development and improvement of payroll processes.
- Other duties in line with this position as required by the Finance Manager.
Skills & Experience
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Previous experience in Finance / Payroll with a similar role, with specific exposure to UK and EU payroll.
- Knowledge of payroll software and proficiency in MS packages including Excel.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing payroll.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to reliably commute to the Bellshill office.

£24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
