Meadows Psychology Service is the sister company of Meadows Care. Meadows Care provide therapeutic children's homes for children who are looked after. Meadows Psychology Service provide therapeutic support to organisations to help develop their trauma informed practice.Your role will be contributing to the smooth running of the therapy service.
Meadows Psychology Service are expanding, and this is a new role within the service at an exciting time.
We're looking for an Administrative Officer to help keep our therapy service running smoothly.
As the backbone of our organisation, you'll have lots of different responsibilities and work across a variety of departments, helping to provide excellence in trauma informed therapeutic care to the children, young people, families and organisations we work with.
Day to day, you'll do everything from organising meetings, typing up therapy reports, to managing information and records, so a keen eye for detail is crucial.
Highly organised and methodical, you'll proactively provide essential support to the people in the therapy service and the wider organisation.
You will need to have knowledge of the whole Microsoft Office Suite and Excel to carry out your administrative role.
Roles and Responsibilities- Assisting the therapy department with all administrative tasks
- Typing up and formatting documents
- Acting as main point of contact for staff and visitors to the service
- Answer and direct calls to the therapy service
- Support and oversee staffing allocations
- Developing and maintaining administration systems and reporting
- Taking minutes in therapy meetings
- Organising therapy consultations, liaising with families and professionals to book in consultations
- Support with diary management of senior leadership team
- Assist in archiving procedures
- Perform a variety of administrative duties, such as generating and distributing memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms
- Managing internal and external mail
- Ordering stationary and general supplies for the office
- Photocopying resources and preparing training materials and assessment measures for therapists
- Assisting in the organisation of meetings through booking rooms and arranging refreshments.
- Proven administrative experience
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Be aware of your role in Safeguarding
- Strong timemanagement skills and multitasking ability
- Experience of working with IT systems, information / data management systems and office tools such as Excel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
