    We are looking for a talented individual with a background in Software Development to join our experienced operations team of Innovation Funding Experts.

    This opportunity would ideally suit someone who has a 3+ year background in Software Development, looking for a new opportunity or a change of focus.

    The opportunity will enable you to use your technical knowledge and experience in a creative way across many sectors.

    It will also require you to have strong technical report writing skills, interpersonal and communication skills, project management skills and client relationship-building abilities.

    Business travel will also be required to some extent.

    The role will involve writing of R&D project descriptions for software companies for R&D tax credit claims for submission to HMRC.

    You will obtain the necessary information in discussions with our clients' within the software industry.

    Full training will be provided on joining the company and initially you will be work closely with our Software team:

    Meet with clients to gather business and project information (this can be either remotely or face to face).

    Develop a strong understanding of government guidelines / legislation and Revenue guidance in regard to R&D activity, and critically assess client projects.

    Produce technical and financial documentation to accurately and concisely support the R&D Tax Relief claim, ensuring claims are concluded in a timely manner.

    Review and interpret the organisation's financial accounts, with support from our Finance department.

    Engage with HMRC and prepare additional financial and technical documentation as required, if an enquiry is raised on a claim submitted.

    Maintain regular and effective communications with client personnel during the claim process, and ensure clients are communicated with outside the claim period for improved working relations.

    3+ years Software Industry Experience
    ~ Proven experience of report writing skills
    ~ Adept at using Microsoft Office packages

    Excellent base starting salary (depending on experience)
    ~ Yearly salary reviews (around July time)
    ~ Companywide bonus - this entails 4 elements - individual, team, company and behavioural, and sits at £1,200 per year (depending on overall performance of the company).

    ~ Life Assurance
    ~5-day training allowance, being a combination of team and individual training
    ~ Holiday allowance of 33 days, with up to an additional 1 day after 2 years service, 1 day after 3 years service and 1 day after 4 years service, giving a total of 36 days per each calendar year + additional special day.
