Description
Our client, an internationally recognised aerospace company, are currently searching for an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic to join their team in London, Gatwick on a 6 month contract basis


Role:
Licensed Aircraft Engineer B1


Location:
Gatwick


Duration:6 Months


Shift Pattern:4on / 5off / 5on / 4off / 5on / 5off alternating days and night shift.


Spec

  • Perform Line and Base maintenance on customer aircraft
  • Ensure compliance with all procedures associated with the line maintenance of the customers aircraft.
  • Report any technical issues, aircraft delays, or other issues to shift leaders and / or customer representatives
  • Ensure all planned aircraft work is carried out as scheduled to optimize aircraft downtime.
  • Ensure all aircraft paperwork, technical logs, and work packs are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales.
  • The role will involve extensive international travel and could result in extended periods away from home in support of project work

Requirements:


  • Hold an EASA Part66 B1/B2 licence and can demonstrate experience on Boeing 737NG, 737MAX, 787 and 77
  • Be able to work unsupervised but also be a team player who will grasp opportunities to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in house systems.
  • Previous experience of using the AMOS system or similar MMS systems.
