    About the role

    This role will support and advance the work of the Pro-Provost London Office and its activities, as well as provide senior support to the Director of the London Office. It will provide the postholder with experience managing core strategic partnerships, whilst developing internal and external relationship and coordination practices. The main duties will involve working with a defined number of strategic partners in London, leading engagement with those partners and coordinating activity resulting from the partnership. The partners are primarily Islington Council and British Land, both of whom UCL holds strategic formal partnerships. The role will involve working closely with members of the Pro-Provost (London) Office team as well as those in other areas of UCL. The postholder will also support the Director of the London Office in the overall work of the London Office.

    About you

    You will have proven skills and ability working with a range of people at all levels, with excellent communication skills both in writing and in person. You will have experience working with senior groups and producing papers and reports for boards. You will have experience working with external stakeholders across different sectors and proven ability to gain the confidence of people, whilst producing outcomes. You will be a confident self-starter, ready to hit the ground running. You will be a team player with excellent organisational, time-management and project-management skills. You will have excellent attention to detail and a high standard of work presentation. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and demonstrate significant experience building and managing relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders.
