We are seeking a dedicated and passionate
Year 4 Primary Teaching Assistant to join a lovely Primary School in
Nottingham.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

This is a full time role,
Monday to Friday,
8:30-3:30 and will start in
September.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, providing support and assistance to Year 4 students.
Assist with the planning, preparation, and organisation of classroom activities, resources, and displays.
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students who require additional help, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies and maintain a calm and safe classroom environment.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, identifying areas for improvement or further support.
Encourage and facilitate independent learning, assisting students in developing their critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
Collaborate with other members of the school community, including parents and external professionals, to ensure the holistic development of students.

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
A patient and nurturing approach, understanding the diverse needs of students and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment.
A proactive and flexible attitude, willing to contribute to the wider school community.
A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential.
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check that is registered to the update service (or willing to get one).
