We are seeking a dedicated and passionate
Year 4 Primary Teaching Assistant to join a lovely Primary School in
Nottingham.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

This is a full time role,
Monday to Friday,
8:30-3:30 and will start in
September.

Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, providing support and assistance to Year 4 students.
  • Assist with the planning, preparation, and organisation of classroom activities, resources, and displays.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students who require additional help, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
  • Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies and maintain a calm and safe classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, identifying areas for improvement or further support.
  • Encourage and facilitate independent learning, assisting students in developing their critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school community, including parents and external professionals, to ensure the holistic development of students.

Requirements:


  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
  • A patient and nurturing approach, understanding the diverse needs of students and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude, willing to contribute to the wider school community.
  • A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential.
  • An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check that is registered to the update service (or willing to get one).

Salary:
£16,165.50-£19,787.55 per day
