We are seeking a dedicated and passionate
Year 4 Primary Teaching Assistant to join a lovely Primary School in
Nottingham.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.
This is a full time role,Monday to Friday,
8:30-3:30 and will start in
September.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, providing support and assistance to Year 4 students.
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and organisation of classroom activities, resources, and displays.
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students who require additional help, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies and maintain a calm and safe classroom environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, identifying areas for improvement or further support.
- Encourage and facilitate independent learning, assisting students in developing their critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Collaborate with other members of the school community, including parents and external professionals, to ensure the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
- A patient and nurturing approach, understanding the diverse needs of students and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- A proactive and flexible attitude, willing to contribute to the wider school community.
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check that is registered to the update service (or willing to get one).

£16,165.50-£19,787.55 per day
