    Manheim Vehicle Solutions is an evolving business supporting customer de-fleet and handover services. Working in the Mechanical workshops context of work will vary from servicing to rectifying basic mechanical and electrical faults.

    As vehicles are continuously developing the work we undertake is constantly changing, consequently training will be provided to keep up to date on all manufacturer developments.


    Team members are responsible for ensuring all customer defined requirements are delivered ensuring operational and customer service excellences are always met.


    Scope of Role:

    • Working on brand specific vehicles
    • Carry out Manufacturer Based Services adhering to manufacturer specific requirements.
    • Carry out all mechanical and electrical repairs adhering to manufacturer specific requirements.
    • Carry out often complex diagnostic work and follow the best repair method adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
    • Carry out EV related work following manufacturer guidelines and processes.
    • Follow warranty processes for each manufacturer whilst adhering to the correct level of repair.
    • To manage individual times and focus on own efficiencies and effectiveness
    • Offer guidance, development and support for colleagues on diagnosis and best repair methods
    • To be able to work as part of a team and an individual

    Objectives for Role:
    Follow service processes adhering to manufacturer guidelines.

    Following manufacturer processes in carrying out warranty repairs

    Ability to deliver work on time and to a high standard.

    Follow instructions.


    Trained by a specific manufacturer for a minimum of 5 years gaining qualifications within this period including to work and diagnose EV related faults as authorised by the aforementioned manufacturer.


    The ability to read and analyse data, understand complex mechanical and electrical faults and able to conclude on how to rectify this issue.

    Continuous Development to work on changing products and to keep up to date with a changing market.

    Able to use initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively.

    Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of the department.

    Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload.

    Ability to provide a concise and legible write up of work carried out.

    Trained and approved to carry out EV related work whether diagnostic or repair related work.

    Facilitate for parts to be stored and shipped (if required) back to the OEM.

    Maintains accurate records and documentation to support with audits

    Checking vehicles being processed for outstanding campaigns and safety recalls.

    Must have a minimum of 5 years brand experience gaining manufacturer qualifications


    Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

    • Must have a full UK driving Licence.
    • Excellent communication.
    • Customer Brand Qualifications is desirable but not essential, and training will be provided.
    • Ability to adapt to new systems and able to adapt to an ever-changing product gaining knowledge through manufacture supported programmes and applying in practical application
    • The ability to read and analyse data.
    • Able to use own initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively.
    • Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of the department.
