Description
Job Description:
We are in need of a Lead FPGA / Embedded-Systems Engineer to be part of Arm's Hardware Platforms team, at the forefront of Arm based embedded design.
We are a diverse team with expertise in software, FPGA, and board design, providing platforms internally and externally to support Arm's IP business model. Initially, you will lead a small FPGA design team to validate a new FPGA hardware platform and create reference design resources.
The team develops physical hardware platforms based on Arm's leading CPU and system IP products. These platforms are utilized for software development and IP validation both internally and by partners/customers.
You will lead the team in creating FPGA designs for interface enablement and validation, as well as design for our upcoming platform, working closely with software and board engineers. The released material will prioritize engineering efficiency, with a focus on engineering flows.
Responsibilities will involve RTL and implementation constraints, with emphasis on clear and high-quality documentation. Familiarity with RTL and document review processes is a plus. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of designs using techniques like gated clock conversion and synthesizable models to create accurate system representations.
