Tasks and Qualifications:
Principal Accountabilities
- To comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times and promote a positive H&S culture.
- Manage, support and grow the flow controlling team on site to ensure KPI requirements in scope of the Dematic contract.
- Plan, change and maintain resource availability.
- Work collaboratively with the customer and the 3PL provider to deliver outstanding service for our customer
- To ensure development and training of all team members
- To provide a solid link to the engineering team in issue resolution and CI opportunities
- To work within the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices
- To promote and drive 5S and valueadd practices across site with the team
- To ensure and instil logical ways of approaching, resolving and recording faults and daily activities
- To ensure quality of output at all times
- To accurately record all work undertaken
- Involvement in continuous improvement and sales opportunities
- To represent the company in a professional manner at all times and maintain customer relations
- To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Level 5 qualification in leadership (ideal) or equivalent qualification/experience
- Excellent keyskills and good IT competency
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (desirable)
- Previous experience/knowledge of automated systems, warehouse or production environment
- Ability to manage multiple workloads and prioritise accordingly
- Demonstratable history of excellent person management skills
- Demonstratable history of safe working and contribution towards a positive working culture
