    Overall job purpose

    We are recruiting for a Reward Assistant to work on a hybrid basis (1 day per week) in our Birmingham office. Flexible working may also being considered (minimum for 4 days per week).

    As a Reward Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the wider reward team, with the administration and implementation of various people and reward processes.

    Key duties will
    include:

    • Acting as the main point of contact for employees and benefit providers, handling any related queries including the management of the shared inbox
    • Assisting in the promotion of all benefits via the intranet and other promotional activities, including the management of seasonal vaccinations and occasional seasonal gifting.
    • Running monthly benefit reports for payroll and providers, including the processing of salary advances when requested and reporting to the Corporate reporting team, as required.
    • Supporting the annual salary and bonus review processes, to include maintaining job coding as part of job evaluation
    • Administration of the car scheme and recognition scheme
    • Providing support for the implementation, ongoing maintenance, and development of the Reward systems, intranet pages and knowledge portal
    • Presenting at student induction events, answering benefit related queries
    • Overseeing the administration of High Fives recognition scheme, with analysis of utilisation as required
    • Overseeing the annual communications plan, create material and posts accordingly with the Comms team and Reward Advisor
    • Overseeing the Milestones award scheme and benefit eligibility files
    • Undertaking reward related research projects

    Standard reporting

    • Produce the monthly reports showing benefit trends and payroll trends
    • Assistance in the provision of quarterly reports showing reward related analysis, new joiner benefits and competitor benefits.
    • Be responsible for the consolidation of all benefit membership listings and associated invoices, liaising with Payroll and our Intermediary accordingly
    • Quarterly reporting on High Fives usage and trends
    • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our systems and run advanced reports as necessary.

    Project Assistance

    • Assist the Reward team in researching` new core or voluntary benefits to include involvement in any promotional launch and ongoing publicity of a scheme
    • Provide support and input into relevant projects within the People team as appropriate.

    The Reward Assistant will have
    previous experience supporting reward processes within an HR department,
    ideally within a professional services environment, be proficient at using
    Microsoft Excel and confident working with large volumes of data, have strong
    communication skills and be able to effectively organise their own workload.
