Maxim Logistics are accredited against BRC Storage and Distribution standards which means that food safety and quality is integral to the operation.

We are currently recruiting
Warehouse General Worker

Rotating dayshift 06:
/ 14:00 - 22:00 or any other day shift hours (08:00 - 16:00).

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Carry out the instructions given by the Warehouse Team Leader; and ensure that any instructions, whether verbal or written, are understood before any given task is undertaken;

Handball containers - up 25 kg bags or boxes

Complete any necessary reworks: re-palletise stock, labelling product, de-layer pallets:

Complete daily hygiene tasks across Warehouse and Yard:

Check the integrity of any pallet when moving or selecting from it for damage, accuracy, appearance;
Report any damaged product on any pallet as soon as it is discovered;

- 'Clean as you go' reporting immediately any major spill;

Reporting of any food safety / quality or food defence issues
Sign for MHE at the start of shift and ensure that it is maintained mechanically and for cleanliness;
Completing any additional rework requested by customer
The job demands a very high level of physical activity during the working day, which can be especially so during peak and busy period;
Any other reasonable duties as and when required;
