Description
We have an excellent position for a self-motivated and hands-on maintenance person to join a friendly and hardworking team.


This person will be diligent, practical and down to earth and will autonomously lead with the upkeep and general care of two studio buildings and grounds.


  • Good all round grounds person skills and maintenance knowledge and experience
  • Carry out routine checks on each studio and update Studio Managers with works needed
  • Assist with external contractors for any maintenance needed working with Studio Admins
  • Basic plumbing knowledge is an advantage to understand and maintain plumbing and drainage systems, for example repairs to WC systems, leaking taps or water testing or unblocking drains
  • Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous
  • Carry out repairs to the fabric of a building, for example repairs to walls, doors, steam clean floors
  • Understand and maintain grounds and external fabrication of a building, such as drainage and guttering.
  • Must be able to work at height
  • Understand and demonstrate the safe use of hand tools, for example screwdrivers, power drills, pliers and a variety of other tools used in plumbing and carpentry.
  • Undertake planned and preventative maintenance for example general painting and decorating internally
  • General gardening duties for example cutting the grass, wedding, collecting leaves
  • Record and report information accurately with clear communication and updates to Studio Managers
  • Be aware of costs and be commercially minded when costs are involved
  • Outdoor groundwork, repairing fencing, gates, pressure washing paths etc.
  • Driving licence and experience with machinery

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
