Ashgrove Care Home is a 20 bedded residential care home, looking for a caring, compassionate, reliable, and dependable Care Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated expanding team

Morning shifts
Afternoon shifts
Night shifts

Hourly rate will be depending on experience and education

Responsibilities Include:

Supporting residents with personal care
Leading a team to ensure best practice is maintained
Engaging with residents during activities
Assisting with mealtimes and monitoring food and fluid intake and output
Keeping clear and accurate daily records
Promoting health and safety in and around the care home
Have a caring and proactive attitude to support residents

Requirements:

Experience within the care sector
To think on your feet, communicate effectively and take on responsibility
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Caring and patient manner, reliable with good timekeeping skills
Available to work flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential
