    The opportunity
    We are currently looking for a talented Catering Manager to lead our catering & hostess team at our beautiful residential, nursing & dementia care home in Evesham, Worcester.

    The day to day

  • You will have passion & ambition to continue to develop outstanding, nutritious menus, elegantly presented in our beautiful dining rooms.
  • Leading from the front, you will inspire, coach, and develop the catering & hostess team to always deliver an exceptional dining experience.
  • Responsible for creating freshly prepared & locally sourced nutritional seasonal menus.
  • You will work alongside our Clinical teams to create menus and cater to residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.
  • Supporting our vibrant Activities teams you will create fun & exciting dining experiences that enrich the wonderful lifestyle within our home.
  • Responsible for stock control within the kitchen and liaising with suppliers/management to maintain correct stock levels.
  • With strong organisational & problem-solving skills, you will ensure that all company policies, procedures, and budgets are adhered to.
  • You will also ensure that all relevant Health & Safety guidelines such as COSHH and HACCP are strictly followed.
  • As part of the role, you may be required to work regular weekends.

    • Your experience & qualifications ?

  • Previous experience in a catering environment (Essential)
  • NVQ Level 4 in Catering (Essential)
  • Menu planning to cater to specific & prescribed dietary needs (incl modified textures & therapeutic diets)
  • Experience in achieving food margins, successful budgeting, stock ordering & control.
  • Management experience leading a catering team is preferred.
  • A talented communicator, someone who will build great relationships with their team, the wider Majesticare family & external stakeholder, residents and their families.
  • This role will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check.
