We have an exciting opportunity for a senior position in our team, where you will be delivering HR consultancy to both our retained and project-based clients, mentoring and developing our HR consultants, and contributing to the growth of our business.
The role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work remotely, on-site with clients, and in our offices located in Glasgow and Edinburgh. This setup requires a strong personal presence when engaging with clients, team members, and contacts.
We are seeking someone with proven experience in HR consultancy at a senior level, who excels in building relationships, generating innovative ideas, and thrives in a fast-paced business setting. There is ample room for professional growth in this role.
It is a full-time position with the flexibility for remote work arrangements. However, we expect a minimum of 2 days per week to be spent onsite, and having access to our Glasgow office would be beneficial.
The Lead HR Consultant plays a crucial role in leading and engaging the HR delivery team, collaborating with them to provide high-quality and professional HR services to our diverse client base.
HR Skills & Knowledge
- Lead the delivery of client services, offering HR support across the employee lifecycle and handling complex project/consultancy work.
- Partner with clients to provide timely, commercial, and compliant advice, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Create well-written, structured, and comprehensive reports.
- Produce various HR-related correspondence, such as offer letters, contracts, and policy updates, tailored to clients' needs and in line with legislative changes.
- Manage clients' HR systems and conduct workshops and training sessions.
- Promote a collaborative team environment and ensure high-quality advice and documentation output.
Client Delivery
- Lead and support the team in renewing key client accounts and manage client expectations.
- Ensure timely delivery of contracts and provide progress reports to clients regularly.
- Review and monitor billable hours to meet client agreements and expectations.
- Identify new business opportunities through existing and potential client relationships.
Developing the Business
- Identify potential business opportunities and support sales and marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on HR knowledge, contribute to business development plans, and write proposals for new business.
- Produce content for marketing channels and actively promote the company's services.
- Keep abreast of industry updates and develop new initiatives for client offerings.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a Senior HR role within a consultancy setting.
- Chartered Member of the CIPD with expert knowledge across the HR spectrum.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in invoicing processes, business models, and software applications.
Pay: £45,000.00 per year
