    Salary:
    Starting £27,500 up to £35,000 per annum dependant on experience

    Job Type: 40 hours a week, 8-hour shifts (Early/Day Shift 6am-2.30pm/7.30am-4pm)

    Job Description:
    We are currently seeking a Multiskilled/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

    The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machinery and equipment and the upkeep of our facilities.


    Our Machinery includes but is not limited to; Flat sheet LDPE extrusion lines, Recycling plant (consisting of a Pelletiser, Shredder & Granulator), compressors, side channel and rotary vane vacuum pumps, material conveying systems and chilled water systems.


    Responsibilities:
    Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment
    Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues
    Diagnose mechanical problems and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime
    Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues
    Follow company safety procedures at all times
    Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed

    Communication with contractors and suppliers when requiredRequirements:
    Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Fitter or similar role
    Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
    Proficiency in reading technical manuals and drawings
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
    Certification or relevant qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering or a related field is preferredCandidates with the experience and relevant job titles of: Test and Inspection Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrician, Multi Skilled Electrical Technician, Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Installation Engineer, Electrical Tester, Machine Electrician, Field Service Electrician, Service Engineer, Industrial Electrician, Mechanical Engineer, Repair Technician, Mobile Engineer, Electrical Field Service Engineer may also be considered for this role
