    Position Overview: Are you passionate about crafting and optimising IT Infrastructure? Join our team as an Infrastructure Engineer and take on a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and fine-tuning application delivery solutions for our esteemed clientele. As part of our dynamic team, you'll leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and deployment methodologies to ensure our clients receive high-performance, scalable, and resilient applications tailored to their unique needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage closely with clients to grasp their on-premises and cloud infrastructure requirements.
    • Strategize, prepare, and execute hardware and software solutions, drawing from platforms like AWS, Azure, VMWare, Microsoft, Linux, and storage systems.
    • Collaborate with development teams to seamlessly integrate applications with chosen delivery infrastructure.
    • Partner with operations to enhance ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of application delivery infrastructure, ensuring peak performance and availability.
    • Develop and uphold documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices pertinent to application delivery engineering.
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and application delivery, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience.
    • Experience in designing and implementing, or a strong inclination to learn about cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), on-prem virtualization (especially VMWare, with Hyper-V as a bonus), storage and SAN technologies, Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 Outlook, Linux operating systems, and backup/restoration technologies (VEEM preferred).
    • Profound understanding of networking concepts encompassing TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and routing protocols.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
    • Relevant certifications in Microsoft, VMware, AWS are advantageous.
