Project Support Administrator - Environment

Braithwell/Rotherham

What you will be doing:

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Support Administrator to join the team at Galliford Try.


You will work on our Yorkshire Water Frameworks within our Environment Business, who are experienced in successfully delivering schemes of varying sizes, predominately to the Water Industry, across both Treatment Waste and Water schemes.


In your role of Project Support Administrator, you will assist our multi-disciplinary design teams, working collaboratively with Yorkshire Water from our Braithwell Rotherham office.


Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the office and site-based management on a wide range of AMP7 infrastructure projects.


You will be an integral part of Project Delivery team, working to manage and update the weekly planner with the focus on ensuring site labour is fully utilised and planned for the foreseeable future.

It will be your role to liaise with Project Manager and Site Managers to ensure new schemes are added, supply out-of-hours contact details and ensure the On-Call Rota is upheld, updated and accurate.


In your role as Project Support Administrator, you will assist the operational site teams with the coordination of administrative queries, training requests, resources, equipment, plant, meetings, purchase orders, invoices, delivery tickets, print interruptions cards and site information for the office and the yard.


You will be the first point of contact for our stakeholders, dealing with deliveries and ensuring goods are unloaded safely, positioned correctly & identified.


You will be responsible for ensuring all administrative tasks are completed to the highest standards, working closely with our leadership team to organise the distribution of site documentation.

It will be part of your role to provide updates on Site Waste Management and Environmental Data, attaining copies of Waste Transfer Notes and permits/licences for waste.


You will play a primary role in ensuring that all office administrative functions are coordinated to achieve a high level of productivity for the project, with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget.
