    Are you an experienced Delivery Manager with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, looking for the opportunity to work in the delivery of a brand-new fleet of Trains.


    Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are recruiting a Delivery Manager, responsible for the delivery of a brand-new fleet of Trains.

    (This role is a 2 year fixed term Contract)

    The Opportunity


    Ford and Stanley are partnered with an industry leading, multinational Rail and rolling stock production company, with the opportunity to work on an exciting project which is still in its infancy.

    You will be responsible for overseeing the completion and delivery of the product in its final stages before delivery to the client.

    Motivating and guiding a team of capable and willing technicians to ensure that the project can be delivered in line with customer expectations.

    Beckton, London


    Role and Responsibilities:
    Oversee the completion and delivery of brand new, state of the art Rail and Rolling stock products.
    Ensure you are leading by example and motivating the team to meet deadlines. Inspiring a productive and collaborative working environment.
    Sign off and guarantee that any quality issues, modifications or pending work is completed in time for customer delivery.

    The Candidate


    The ideal candidate will hold strong interpersonal skills and be able to manage people, with knowledge in a heavy industrial environment.

    With the experience of working to tight deadlines and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and in line with customer expectations.

    Essentials

    Previous experience of Delivery Management In a heavy industrial environment.
    Strong interpersonal and management skills to ensure the team are working to maximum efficiency.

    Ability to work proactively and take a dynamic approach to provide solutions to problems in an environment that demands continuous improvement.

    Desirable

    Previous experience in the Rail Industry.
    Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word.
